May will wait – confidently and patiently – for its time to shine, usually when April has fallen asleep. It then sheds its grey coat, steps out into the crisp air and shines. So bright that for a moment, even June is blinded. Can I? May I? Take all my clothes off and swim in that pond? Look up to the skies that are painted emerald by leaves on fearless trees. This is May.
