Ideology

Yet another primary school. This one is advertised as being Christian. The headmistress chuckled when we asked about religion. She said, "I'm an atheist, but the teachers do things like talk about Mozes. If it's an 'M' week, for example. Or Adam in an 'A' week. But then there's a whole list of other A's too such as apples or ants."
I wondered about this headmistress. I suppose it's perfectly normal to defend an ideology which is not yours. Criminal lawyers defend rapists. Politicians defend whatever it is their party says they should defend. Still,  I'm not sure whether to feel relieved or unsettled.
