Back where we started
published: 2008-09-14We just landed in NY, the city we both lived in, loved, it's even the city where we first fell in love with each other. We wandered the streets of the East Village, past my old studio on 1st & 8th, past my man's old apartment on 4th & 2nd, and within minutes we talked about moving back here for a while, three years or so, and whether that would be realistic, it would most likely make us go bankrupt, but maybe it would be worth it, and we should at least try and speak English with our son, just in case, because who knows, maybe, just maybe, in a couple of years, well, how about next year?
