and Jasmina and Trevor

published: 2011-01-21

Well all right then. She has to be around 22. Not much older, or she wouldn’t have such a diversity of friends, friends of different heritages. She can’t really be living in center city? Unless Jasmina is the European version of the name. But then it would be Jasmin. And what to make of Trevor? So here we have a 22-year-old girl who is the embodiment of the multi-cultural dream, walking hand in hand and all. In fact, she is more than that. She is the dream of a better world. Consider them, those flushed 20 something kids, Jewish and Arabic and Dutch and English and African and Indian, as many girls as there are boys, eating organic food together. Consider that.
Now let’s stop dreaming. What if the note lists names of children at a daycare center. And the daycare centre was out of hypoallergenic soap or needed 17 apples. 18 including her.
